Hytra whose name derives from the old Greek earthenware vase, first opened its doors in 2004 in the vibrant Psiri neighborhood.
In 2010, the high-end restaurant which serves gourmet dishes bases on traditional Greek cuisine but with a modern twist was granted its first Michelin star. It is housed on the 6th floor of the Onassis Cultural Center on Syngrou Avenue and in the summertime, it moves to the 7th-floor at the building’s rooftop terrace, offering a great view of the Acropolis, Lycabettus hill and the cityscape.
The award-winning restaurant features two menus, Hytra Gourmet which included traditional dishes cooked in a contemporary way and Hytra Apla which offers a more casual dining experience at affordable prices.
